Why this exists
Booking is easy.
Getting your spot isn't.
Then plans change.
People cancel and switch spots all day, often late at night or early in the morning. Your spot might free up at 11:48 PM, when you're not checking.
We watch so you don't have to.
Barrys.app checks your class every few minutes until check-in closes. When the spot you want opens, it moves your reservation there and texts you.
How it works

Book like you always do
Reserve the class in the Barry's app, even if you only get a spot you don't want. Barrys.app works on classes you've already booked.
Text the spot you want
Name one spot, a range, a type, or a ranked list. Plain English works. So do voice notes.
We move you and text you
If it's open now, you're moved right away. If not, we keep checking. If nothing opens before check-in closes, we tell you, and you keep the spot you have.
Tell it what you want
Picky is the point.
Use the spot names from the Barry's app: T for treads, F for floor, DF for double-floor spots. Be as specific or as flexible as you like.

It's Barry's own login page, the same account you use in their app. Your password goes to Barry's, not to us.

After signing in, the page will look stuck or keep loading. That's expected. Copy the full URL from the address bar and text it to us. This is how your account gets connected.

FAQ
Straight answers.
Will it book classes for me?
No. You book the class yourself in the Barry's app. Barrys.app then moves the reservation you already have into a better spot.
Am I guaranteed to get my spot?
No. It only works if someone gives up the spot you want before check-in closes, and someone else can still take it between our checks. For popular classes, the earlier you ask, the more chances you get.
If your spot never opens, nothing changes. You keep the spot you booked and we text you when we stop watching.
How often does it check?
Every few minutes, from when you ask until you're moved or check-in closes. If your spot is already open when you ask, you're moved right away.
I listed several spots. Will it keep upgrading me?
No. Each check, it moves you to the highest-ranked spot on your list that's open, then stops watching that class. Only list spots you'd be happy to end up in. If you already have one of them, it doesn't do anything.
What do I have to give you to connect my account?
Nothing but your phone number. You sign in on Barry's own page, and Barrys.app gets a sign-in token for your account, like any app you connect with "Sign in with…". We never see or store your password. If that token expires, we'll text you to reply login again.
How do I stop it?
Text status to see what's being watched, then say "stop watching tomorrow's class," or text cancel followed by the class ID. For progress texts, text reminder off.
Is this made by Barry's?
No. Barrys.app is an independent, fan-made tool built by a Barry's regular. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Barry's.
